4th Grade Tours
Island Spirit Kayak would like to invite your 4th grader to join us on the water for an end of year kayak adventure on Sengekontacket Pond. We have been offering this trip to our island community for 15+ years and we're excited to paddle with this year's students!
Information
We begin each trip with a brief beach instruction of kayak paddle techniques, water safety and wildlife identification. We outfit each paddler with a PFD and provide all guides and necessary gear. The tour will last an hour and a half!
Please bring clothes that can get wet, a reusable water bottle, and of course your sense of adventure! We recommend kids bring towels or warm clothes for after.
Kids Paddle Adventures

Looking for a fun summer activity? We offer single day and week long paddle adventure programs!
From our location, kids explore canals, search for shellfish, observe endangered bird life, and try out kayaks and paddle boards while perfecting their technique. We learn proper kayaking technique and safety, and skills are learned through a mix of instruction, demonstrations, games, and trips. Each day the tour will highlight a new topic, where kids will play and explore all day, learning important information in an active environment. ​
